and at the time of the building of the Millennium Tower in Rotterdam, Omega was part of a so-called 'design and build' commission, i.e. a project which we both designed and realised. When the plan was ready, two Omega mechanics set out to install a complete grounding installation, a potential compensation and a lightning protection installation on a floor area of 28,000 m2. The duration of this large project was 14 months.

Scattered over the entire Netherlands are distribution boxes of KPN Telecom. Twenty Omega mechanics were busy for 6 months to install and finish lightning grounding at these boxes. At the same time, it was no trouble at all for them to do some small repairs. |

Omega regularly does work for private persons also. For example: two mechanics installed an external lightning protection system on a villa with a thatched-roof in Borger. Rain pipes were used to install the descending wiring out of sight as much as possible. |

During a period of seven weeks, two Omega mechanics installed a lightning protection system and metallic connections on flue gas ducts for the Physics faculty of Groningen University. |

The cable company Castel Groningen asked Omega to install and finish a safety grounding at the CAI boxes in the northern provinces. A job one of our mechanics finished in six months. |

Following European regulations, the lead water pipes in the Netherlands are for health reasons being replaced by plastic pipes. After such a conversion, new safety grounding is necessary. Omega was commissioned to install ground electrodes in various regions. |

Omega does not like poor work and offers extra afterservice with periodical inspections and maintenance, such as the annual inspection to the lightning safety installations on the Rotterdamse Schouwburg. |
